Times journalist Melisa Msweli harassed by cops,forced to delete pictures as pro-democracy police recruit laid to rest.

HOSEA:Melisa Msweli,a Times of eSwatini journalist was harassed by Mswati’s cops and forced to delete pictures.

This was during the funeral of pro-democracy police recruit Simhle Fakudze of Hosea who was secretly buried by over one hundred(100) police officers on Friday evening.

“It’s true they forced me to delete pictures,” said the Times journalist.

Other activists who tried to take pictures or attend the funeral were heavily assaulted and detained even before they came closer to the graveyard.

Norman Xaba, a member of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) was harassed and forced back.
