Minister Moses Vilakati joins African Ministers for a Tourism Dialogue Session in Durban.

MBABANE:Moses Vilakati, the Minister of Tourism and Environmental Affairs joined a panel of African Ministers for a Tourism Dialogue session in Durban, South Africa on Monday, on the side-lines of the annual Tourism Indaba. 

According to eSwatini Government online platforms, the Dialogue was held under the theme: “Tourism Sustainable Development.”

The aim of the Dialogue is to provide a platform for African Tourism Ministers, policy makers, stakeholders and experts from the tourism sector to share ideas on the role of tourism in the African continent and to discuss issues impacting tourism post COVID-19. The Dialogue will also discuss the opportunities of BRICS for South Africa and the African continent.Minister Vilakati spoke on the importance of tourism promotion through the ease of connectivity, highlighting the recent launch of Eswatini Air, and exploring unique cultural experiences as well as reviewing visa regime in the African Continent,” reads the Government report in part.
