MBABANE: Thamsanqa Hlatswako,the Political Parties Assembly(PPA)Acting Head of Secretariat says there is no clash between the political organization and the MultiStakeholder Forum(MSF)over the upcoming Tinkhundla undemocratic elections.
This comes after the Times reported on Sunday that the PPA and the MSF clashed over the elections with other members supporting the participation while others maintained their boycot position.
“It must be clearly understood that there is no clash between the PPA and the MSF or any clash within our affiliates in the PPA.As an organization we strongly condemn the decision by the King and his government to continue organising its Tinkhundla elections in total disregard of the political conflict while the public and international community call for a national political dialogue,” reads the statement sent to this Swaziland News on Wednesday.
On another note, Prince Mhlabuhlangene, the Chairman of the Elections and Boundaries Commission(EBC) announced that elections would be held on the 29th September 2023 while registration will commence on the 10th May 2023.
