COVID-19: 57-year old female tests positive, Health Minister warns elderly to take extra pre-cautions

MBABANE:Health Minister Lizzie Nkosi has warned the elderly to take extra pre-cautions as the COVID-19 spreads across the country.

On Sunday, the Minister confirmed twelve (12) more cases of COVID-19 taking the total number to 250 and among those cases was a 57- year old female from the Manzini region. The Minister advised the public to continue with the practice of good hand hygiene, cough etiquette, physical distancing, wearing of masks and self-isolation.

“The public to continue with the practice of good hand hygiene, cough etiquette, physical distancing, wearing of masks and self-isolation. Patients put on home care and those awaiting results are expected to adhere to self-isolation advice which include using a single room at home without sharing, keeping a physical distance whenever other people are encountered and wearing of masks to avoid contaminating surface” she said.
