The Manager told this publication that they were paying according to a Government Gazette.

But when asked to clarify the number of days worked by the employee who received the R230.00, the Manager became emotional and demanded to meet this journalist so that he can explain further.
Evidence in our possession suggests that one of the employees received a mere R230.00 as a salary on Friday, the 12th May 2023.
Speaking to this Swaziland News, Wander Mkhonza, the Secretary General of the Amalgamated Trade Union of Swaziland(ATUSWA) confirmed that Lush Haircare was reported to the union for underpaying employees.
“It’s true, that company was reported to us for underpaying employees and we have launched an investigation,” he said.
The ATUSWA Secretary General said on the issue of the R230.00, it might be possible that the company was breaking the law by rotating the employees to work a few days.
