MATSAPHA:Mshuza Hlophe, is the influential resident who successfully lobbied residents to contribute two hundred Rands(R200)towards the ongoing rehabilitation of roads within the area.
It has been disclosed that other residents contributed twenty-Rands(R20.00)each and the money amounting to about fifty-thousands Rands(R50,000.00),was transferred to Micro-project.
Government,through Micro-Project provided the remaining funding and the project commenced about two weeks ago.
Speaking to this Swaziland News on Tuesday,Mshuza Hlophe,the Chairperson of the Logoba Road Project says the community made significant contributions to ensure the success of the project.
"Perhaps, let me thank all those who assisted us throughout the process.This include our co-sponsor MicroProject, the Kwaluseni Inkhundla, Logoba community as a whole, and some media platforms, particularly Swaziland News, publicizing the plight of the residents and putting pressure to ensure that the commencement of project,”he said.
The Chairperson of the Road Project further mentioned a bridge and the Apollo lights as part of the project.
“The Apollo lights would enable us to reduce the number of criminal cases in Logoba.When criminals commit crimes, the lights make it easier to spot them,” said the Chairperson.
