Mthokozisi Sgantsontso Dlamini who was brutally killed by Mswati\'s police laid to rest, PUDEMO members attend funeral.

MADLANGEMPHISI: Mthokozisi Sgantsontso Dlamini, who was brutal killed by Mswati's police on the evening of 12th May 2023 has been laid to rest at his parental home, Madlangemphisi.

Mswati\'s police officers invaded Madlangemphisi on the 12th of May in the evening, shot and killed Dlamini, subsequently, the members of the law enforcement agency discovered he was not the wanted copper theft suspect.

Simon Mdluli, a uncle to the deceased   when speaking to this Swaziland News yesterday confirmed that his family had two meetings with the Mliba Police Station commander.

“We had two meetings with Mliba Police Station commander. He told us that the death of our child is a mistake and they are not in a position to assist us so we can bury him," said Simon Mdluli, a uncle to Mthokozisi. 

Mthokozisi Sgantsontso Dlamini leaves behind his two children aged two (2) and six (6) months respectively, his funeral was attended by community members and political activist from the the People's United Democratic Movement (PUDEMO) among others.
