NOKWANE: King Mswati has urged soldiers to continue fighting all types of criminality that undermines peace and stability, while discouraging investors from establishing businesses in the Kingdom of eSwatini.
Addressing the army recruits on Friday during the Passout Parade and the 50th Anniversary since the Umbutfo Eswatini Defense Force(UEDF) was established, the King further noted the contribution by soldiers that adds impetus to the attainment of the sustainable development goal on health. He said this seeks to ensure that citizens do not walk more than 10kms to find a health facility.
“Every investor in the world is looking to invest in a country where there is peace and security. We therefore encourage our soldiers to continue with their good work of fighting all types of criminal activity that can deter entrepreneurs from having the appetite to consider the kingdom as one of their investment destinations,” said the King.
