MBABANE:Mvuselelo Fakudze,the Standard Bank Eswatini Chief Executive(CE),has assured the Nation, and clients that the matter involving the financial institution’s workers is almost resolved.
Speaking to this Swaziland News on Monday evening,the Standard Bank CE said,as a result,operations were going on smoothly and there would be no disturbance to all those who receive their salaries through the bank.
“We have engaged the workers, and the matter is almost resolved. We can assure our clients that operations are going smoothly within the bank.In fact,even today (Monday) during the strike, operations were normal as those who are not members of the union were at work.We can assure the Nation that everything is under control, we are engaging the workers with an intention to resolve their grievances," said the Standard Bank Chief Executive.
Workers at the financial institution engaged in a strike action on Monday, demanding an 8.5% salary increment.
