GOBOYANE:Samson Sithole, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Eswatini Water and Agricultural Development Enterprise (ESWADE),says the ongoing Goboyane/Malabaneni land dispute between the children of the late Prince Magongo and Chief Mshikashika should hinder development projects within the area.
Speaking to this Swaziland News on Monday, the ESWADE CEO confirmed that the children of the late Prince Magongo opted to halt an agricultural project,he advised that both parties in the dispute, must engage in a dialogue while the development project continues.
The children of the late Prince Magongo are at loggerheads with Chief Mshikashika over a piece of land that is being developed by ESWADE.
“We understand that this matter is being handled by the relevant traditional structures, and we appeal that both parties must allow the development to continue while the matter is being deliberated on.Anyone among the parties who will win will definitely find the land fully developed and take over,”said the ESWADE CEO.
