MAHLANYA: Completing students at the Institute of Research Management and Development (IRDM) College will finally receive their academic certificates six(6)months after writing their final examinations.
The higher learning institution is located in Mahlanya, opposite Lecthweight Private School.
Speaking to this Swaziland News after confirming the arrival of the College certificates, Dr Oliver Museka; the Executive Director of the College said as they issue out the certificates they appeal to those with outstanding fees to settle their balances before collection.
"We thank God that finally we have received the certificates, also we thank our students parents and guardians for their patience. We urge parents, guardians and sponsors to settle outstanding fees on time to avoid such inconveniences. As we issue them out we appeal for those with outstanding fees to settle their accounts before collection,"said the Executive Director of the College.
Reached for comment, Samnkelo Zestar Ndzimandze the Campaign Officer of the Swaziland National Union Of Students (SNUS) said as a union they are aware of the injustices that Students who are enrolling at private institutions are going through and there is programme in place focusing on them.
“As a union we are very aware of the injustices that students go through in private institutions. It is for that reason that we have developed a programme of action that will focus on students who are enrolling at private institutions.There's a lot of work that must be done in defence of students enrolling at private institutions," said the Union's Campaign Officer.
IRDM students wrote their last paper on the 2nd of November 2022.
