MBABANE:Thantaza Silolo, the Spokesperson of the Swaziland Liberation Movement(SWALIMO)has refuted allegations suggesting that his alleged links with former President of the Economic Freedom Fighters of Swaziland(EFFSWA) Ncamiso Ngcamphalala suggests that “he is also an undercover spy for the regime”.
Silolo and Ngcamphalala allegedly appeared in a CCTV footage at ShopRite at Ezulwini(kaNyatsi) Shopping Complex,on that day, Ngcamphalala was doing shopping with former unionist Jabulani Nxumalo who allegedly sold the then Swaziland Federation of Trade Union(SFTU) to the regime.
The CCTV information cannot be revealed as it might expose our sources who are privy to the sensitive State information.
But SWALIMO Spokesperson Thandaza Silolo confirmed knowledge on of matter or the day where Jabulani Nxumalo conducted shopping for and/or with Ncamiso Ngcamphalala who is now an alleged spy.
“I can confirm that I am very close to Ngcamphalala,he is now renting a house at Ezulwini. On the issue of him being a spy, I recently spoke to a Motsa guy who expressed similar concerns and I told him that I sometimes have similar questions because of the people he is connected to now. So I asked him about that,” said the SWALIMO Spokesperson.
When this journalist asked if it’s Jabulani Nxumalo, Silolo confirmed that he once saw Ngcamphalala with Nxumalo but he clarify that, he also saw him with Gcina Dlamini.
“Oh yes, I once saw him with Jabulani in a car, a Mercedes but this other one, it’s this Gcina Dlamini. I am told he wants to open a Car Wash, so I saw them there,” said the SWALIMO Spokesperson.
State Intelligence sources told this Swaziland News that the purpose of the Car Wash,was to enable the spies to collect information easily as people normally discuss politics while waiting for their cars.
On another note, Silolo said Ngcamphalala once told him that he secured a job a ESWADE but he later noticed that the former EFF Swaziland was lying.
On the issue of the highly classified CCTV information where Ncamiso Ngcamphalala was seen shopping with Jabulani Nxumalo, Silolo said it might be the day he saw them together.
State intelligence sources alleged that Ngcamphalala was engaged as a spy and is also doing layout for a ‘fake’ online publication that insults and defame political activists and those critical of the regime.
Both Ncamiso Ngcamphalala Jabulani Nxumalo declined to comment regarding these allegations.
Efforts to reach alleged spy Gcina Dlamini of the Concerned Citizens proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.
Nxumalo ‘sold’ his relative, the then Liqoqo member Mathendele Dlamini on allegations that he was planning to revive Imbokodvo, Dlamini was fired but later reinstated by the King after it emerged that the information Nxumalo provided to Times was not authentic.
