MBABANE:Percy Simelane, the King’s Spokesperson has clarified that Sihle Dlamini was not mandated to speak on behalf of King Mswati and/or the Government.
Sihle Dlamini, who works as an interpreter for the absolute Monarch activated his alleged verbal diarrhoear last week on Channel Yemaswati,he attacked the United States(US), European Union(EU) countries over looming sanction amid human rights violations in the country.
Dlamini further mocked the death of human rights lawyer Thulani Maseko who was allegedly killed by Mswati’s mercenaries, he alleged that Maseko was killed amid infighting within the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO), and this,was vigorously dismissed by PUDEMO’s Mandla Hlatswako.
“I have reasons to think he was standing in for the two institutions in questions.I want to believe he was exercising his freedom of expression,”said the King’s Spokesperson when asked by this Swaziland News on Tuesday,to clarify if Dlamini was speaking on behalf of the King or Government.
