MBABANE: Mdabula Zulu, founding member of the Swaziland Liberation Movement(SWALIMO) says the Tinkhundla system of governance could be defeated within a short-space of time if all political parties can listen and embrace Mduduzi Magawugawu Simelane’s strategy and participate in elections.
“We can defeat this Tinkhundla system of governance only if political parties can listen to Magawugawu’s strategy of fighting from within. This is my view and I think if we can have at least forty(40) Members of Parliament(MPs) on our side. If SWALIMO, PUDEMO, NNLC and Jan’s political party can collaborate and plant their members who will stand for elections, we can win this,” said the SWALIMO member when interviewed by Swaziland News editor Zweli Martin Dlamini on Wednesday.
On another note, the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO), the Ngwane National Liberatory Congress(NNLC) among other political parties, resolved to boycott the Tinkhundla undemocratic elections, they are demanding free and fair elections under multiparty democracy.
