MBABANE: The businessman who allegedly kidnapped Thabo Kunene, the alleged Commander of the Solidarity Forces is Andile Nkomonye known as Dr Mkhulu, a famous inyanga whose Headquarters is allegedly based at Mhlabuyalingana.

According to call records of this journalist dating back to two years ago, Dr Mkhulu once called this editor and pretended to be offering financial assistance to support his work, he asked to meet the editor at Sandton, Johannesburg.

Dr Mkhulu, the alleged royal inyanga, told this journalist earlier that he was a Swazi born from the Nkomonye family and was bitter that the system has killed his relative Thabani Nkomonye.

But after seeing that this journalist was refusing to honour his invitation for coffee and to take the money, Dr Mkhulu disappeared.

Now, it is suspected that Thabo Kunene, the alleged Commander of the Solidarity Forces was, trapped, Dr Mkhulu who runs a security and private investigation company was allegedly given a royal ‘tender’ to catch political activists including this journalist and hand them over to eSwatini authorities.

On Wednesday evening shortly after ‘kidnapping’ of the Commander of the Solidarity Forces,Dr Mkhulu told those ‘close’ to the King that he doesn’t understand how this journalist get information as he was able to know that Thabo Kunene has been caught.

“I don’t know how u-Zwemart operates, this man seems to have a bugging system to listen to people’s conversation, he has just called me asking me if there are people held in my custody. Be careful, this man is knowing everything that we communicating,” he said in a highly confidential recorded cellphone conversation.

Reached for comments, Dr Mkhulu denied that he was on a royal assignment, he said he wanted to meet this journalist as by that time, he was bitter after the killing of his brother Thabani Nkomonye by the police.

“Yes, I remember calling you but my intention was not to catch you, I wanted to assist you with money because you are doing a good job and I was bitter after the killing of my brother Thabani,” said the alleged royal linked Inyanga.

Reached for comments, King’s Spokesperson Percy Simelane said he was not aware about the inyanga and the alleged royal assignments.

“I have neither heard about him before  nor heard  about his alleged royal assignments,” said the King’s Spokesperson.
