MBABANE: An alleged fraudster has emerged targeting Members of Parliament(MPs), he is collecting a mere forty-Rands(R40,00) each.

According to information shared by some MPs to this Swaziland News, the alleged fraudster was using cellphone number 7821 8715,pretending to be a desperate citizen within their respective constituencies, seeking bus-fare to return to the University.

It has been disclosed that more than ten(10) MPs were defrauded their hard earned monies,the number is now not available on MTN network.

“Good evening Babe Magagula.Lishonile Ntfombeni.Sir I am sorry to invade your private space sir.I am Samkeliso Fakudze walana e Ntfonjeni, currently enrolled at UNESWA Kwaluseni campus. Mhonoshwa ngicela your help sir,bengibuye lakahaya nyalo abasanginaki kuts ngijika njani and absangisiti those who promised help in this desperate time,Kani I must be at school tomorrow,sir ngicela transport fee worth E40.00 ngimane ngifike skoleni ngibhale kusasa sir please.Thank you for your time,” reads part of the message sent to one of the MPs.

The very same message was sent to other MPs with some minor editing.

Efforts to reach the Ntfonjeni MP proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.

Fraudsters have been targeting members of the public and now, MPs have become the target.
