It is very unfortunate that while other countries are focusing on economic development, emaSwati are struggling to enjoy democracy, one of the basic and universal rights.
Democracy should not be negotiated, it must be demanded because it’s a human right that should be enjoyed by the people without restrictions.
Mswati can adopt tactics to delay the calls for democracy but eventually,emaSwati will be free from oppression.
The United States(US) Senate Resolution 174, that seeks to amplify the calls for democracy in eSwatini must be commended, those who are behind it are indeed great servants of this Nation,that has been languishing in oppression for the past fifty(50) years.
King Mswati must know that he cannot hold absolute power forever, eventually, he must surrender Executive powers to a democratically elected government.
We can’t have one man holding all the powers of the State including the economy, this country and its resources must equally benefit all emaSwati.
