LUVE: Rogers Mamba, the former Tinkhundla Minister, now eKutsimuleni Indvuna yeMcuba has grabbed land belonging to deceased widow Belinah Shongwe, less than a month after her burial.
Reached for comments, the former Minister claimed he was struggling to hear this journalist.
“Mane awuvakali kahle.Lapho umekhona kunemsindvo(meaning: I am struggling to hear you, it seems you’re in a noisy place)”, said the former Minister.
It has been disclosed that the eKutsimuleni uMphakatsi Inner Council arrived on Saturday to officially hand over the widow’s land to Moses Kheswa Simelane,for the construction of a filling station.
Speaking to this Swaziland News on Saturday, Khulekani Shongwe, a relative to the deceased said they were shocked with the latest developments.
“As a family we are still in shock.The police protected those who are stealing from us.This is happening just a month after the death of our mother. Tinkhundla system indeed have no regard for the human spirit,” he said.
