EZULWINI: Mbuso Dlamini, the Head of Letshego Group allegedly used his financial power to ‘grab’ Nelly Khumalo from her financially struggling husband, who is a teacher at Luve.
Eswatini teachers are facing financial challenges,after the government failed to increase salaries including a fair and reasonable Cost of Living Adjustment(COLA).
Nelly Khumalo is also a teacher at Ngowane Primary School and the two arrived at Happy Valley Hotel on Friday and spent the whole weekend, they were booked at Room number 317.
A questionnaire was sent to the Letshego Group boss, however, he had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
This Swaziland News is in possession of pictures and videos from their arrival on Friday, Dlamini and Khumalo check-out and left Happy Valley Hotel at around 11am on Sunday, with a white Toyota GD6 registered BSD 844 CH.
Efforts to reach Nelly Khumalo proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.
It has been disclosed that many teachers are facing financial challenges that gravely affected their marriages and or families.
Reached for comments, Mbongwa Dlamini, the President of the Swaziland National Association of Teachers(SNAT) said he was very close to the Letshego boss hence it wouldn’t be proper for him to comment.
“I am very close to Mbuso hence it wouldn’t be proper for me to comment,I am conflicted. Kindly contact the Secretary General,” said the SNAT President.
Sources very close to the teacher told this publication that it was financial challenges that forced her to date Mbuso Dlamini.
“Everytime, when she visits Mbuso, she would go back to her husband with a reasonable amount of money. Yesterday, she was shopping at Gables, Mbuso paid everything,” said the insider.
