HAWANE: Nkhaba Member of Parliament(MP) Zakhele Magongo and Chief Prince Mnisi Dlamini were among the high profile figures, who were present during the official launch of the Mtfonjeni Potable Water Supply and Sanitation Scheme on Monday.
The Water Project, allegedly funded to the tune of five-hundred and eighty thousand Rands(R580,000.00) was officially launched by Acting Natural Resources Minister Jabulani Mabuza.
“This project is one of the Ministry’s interventions in the rural communities of ensuring that every liSwati has access to safe drinking water to attain the national and international goals on water supply and sanitation.His Majesty’s Government has made it a priority to provide clean water and adequate sanitation for all, as stated in the National Development Strategy (NDS). The country is also keen to achieve the UN SDG 6 –Access to clean water and safe sanitation by all in 2030,” said the Acting Natural Resources Minister as quoted by Government online platforms.
