MBABANE: Oslo Freedom Forum, an international human rights organization has honoured the late assassinated human rights lawyer Thulani Rudolf Maseko.

Addressing human rights defenders in Norway at the Oslo Freedom Forum this week, Tanele Maseko, the widow of assassinated eSwatini human rights lawyer said, she was was grateful to the Freedom Forum for availing space to the oppressed people of eSwatini so they can freely express themselves.

“I would like to thank this Forum for availing us space to speak freely, but on the 21st of January I had to pick the pieces of my husband's brain and skull, but that case as it may be; I’m clear that as the Thulani Rudolf Maseko Foundation we will not be intimidated. We will fight and we shall never surrender,” said Tanele Maseko, the widow to the assassinated Swazi human rights lawyer Thulani Rudolf Maseko. 

Maseko was brutally murdered at his home Luyengo on the 21st of January 2023 allegedly, by Mswati's mercenaries.
