SIDVOKODVO: King Mswati has commended the Luke Commission Hospital for the selfless service they render to emaSwati.
Speaking on Friday when officially opening the health facility worth R200million, the King said, the event was not just a tour but, a celebration of creative solutions and best-in-class innovations that have added great value to the country’s health sector.
“Through the hard work of the TLC, we are proud to have now achieved oxygen independence for the first time in our nation’s history, following the construction of an oxygen plant that cost E70 million.We are told that this plant is the largest of its type in the continent of Africa. A wonder of innovation, and that since opening in June 2021, it has never been out of service. It has produced 400 million litres of oxygen and regularly supplies oxygen to other health facilities across the Kingdom,” said the King as quoted by Government online platforms.
The King further noted that many emaSwati were speaking highly of the Luke Commission quality services and commendable work.
“You have saved many lives, siyabonga kakhulu. Your love and care for those who come here to seek support is highly appreciated,” said the King.
