NKHANINI: Ludzidzini Governor Indvuna Lusendvo Fakudze and his syndicate of Nkhanini Inner Council(Bandlancane) is allegedly selling and/or allocating land without the approval of King Mswati who is the ‘Chief’ of Lobamba-Nkhanini being Lihambate.

The Governor who is allegedly operating the ‘illegal’ sale of land through his brother Kenneth Fakudze, recently sold a piece of land at Lobamba next to Parliament/Somhlolo National Stadium to Musa Nhleko, the Director of Mgiliga Properties.

Other pieces of land next to the premises of the under construction new eSwatini Parliament were allegedly sold to various churches.

Reached for comments,Kenneth Fakudze, the alleged Deputy Nkhanini Indvuna confirmed that land was allocated to Musawenkhosi Nhleko adding that, there was a letter signed by Lusendvo Fakudze confirming that all processes were followed by Nhleko to secure the land.

“It’s true that land was allocated to Nhleko and there’s a letter signed by Indvuna Lusendvo confirming that he kontaed for that land,” said the ‘Deputy’ Nkhanini Indvuna.

But a Prince who alerted this journalist regarding the ‘illegal’ sale of land told this publication that there were possibilities that Ludzidzini Indvuna Lusendvo Fakudze “who was indisposed due to illness”, was not aware that the Nkhanini Inner Council(Bandlancane) was selling the King’s land.

“Lusendvo is sick and there are possibilities that he is not aware of what is happening. But bo-Kenneth Fakudze(his brother) said it’s him and they even produce letters purported to have been signed by him,”said the Prince.

A questionnaire was sent to Musa Nhleko, the Director of Mgilija Properties, however, he had not responded at the time of compiling this report.

Responding to questions from this Swaziland News, Ludzidzini Governor Indvuna Lusendvo Fakudze said he was not aware of the illegal sale of land at Nkhanini.

When asked to clarify if he was aware of the letter confirming the allocation of land to MusaweNkhosi Nhleko through Kukhonta, the Governor denied knowledge of the letter.

“Akusiko kaMaspala lana kuseMphakatsini weNkhosi, akutsengiswa umhlaba(meaning:This is not a Town Council but the King’s Royal Kraal, land is not for sale)”, said the Ludzidzini Governor who doubles as Nkhanini Indvuna.

On another note, the letter purported to have been signed by Governor Fakudze allegedly misrepresented facts that Indvuna Lusendvo “is the ‘Chief’ of Nkhanini while his brother Kenneth Fakudze is the Deputy Indvuna.

Worth-noting, King Mswati is ‘Chief’ of Lobamba-Nkhanini and all emaHambate in the country.

“This serves to attest that Musawenkhosi Nhleko of Mgiliga Properties was allocated land for business purposes right along the road leading to Parliament and paid a sum of R10,000.00 for kukhonta,”reads the letter in part.

The letter in possession of this Swaziland News, allegedly signed by Indvuna Lusendvo Fakudze who was referred to as the “Chief”, further states that the eSwatini customary process of kubopha lifindvo was facilitated by libandla led by Kenneth Fakudze and another members of the Nkhanini Inner Council identified as Bheki Dlamini.
