MANZINI: Members of political parties joined the Swaziland Massacre Victims and Survivors Association(SWAVISA) during the candle light service, held at Caritas in Manzini on Friday.
The service was attended by, among others, the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) Youth League President Sakhile ‘Awviva’ Nxumalo, human rights lawyer Mary DaSilva and other high profile political leaders.
Leaders of the Communist of Swaziland(CPS) were also part of the candle light service.
Dozens of civilians were allegedly killed by Mswati’s soldiers and the police merely for demanding democracy.
