60 year-old male among new positive cases

Sunday, 7th June, 2020

MBABANE: A 60 year-old male from the Hhohho region is among the new cases of COVID-19 announced by Health Minister Lizzie Nkosi on Saturday.
The Minister revealed this through a press statement released on Saturday evening. "A total of 180 results were received today, of which 163 tested negative and 17 were positive for coronavirus" she said. The number of confirmed cases in the country to date is 322 with 224 recoveries. The Minister encouraged citizens above 60 years to comply with hospital admission arrangements when they are confirmed to be COVID 19 positive. This is very important for their own health since the documented risk factors for coronavirus include advanced age and the presence of other medical conditions.
