MBABANE:Maxwell Dlamini, the Deputy Secretary General(DSG) of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO), has advised members of the political organization and the general public,to use force whenever police officers block them from entering the courtroom.
Speaking to this Swaziland News current affairs program on Tuesday, after PUDEMO members led by Deputy President Wandile Dludlu forced entry inside the High Court during alleged Solidarity Forces Commander Thabo Kunene appearance, Dlamini urged the public to continue using force when blocked from entering the court.
“We advise our members and the general public to use force and enter the courtroom when blocked by the police, courts are public institutions not police camps,” said the PUDEMO Deputy Secretary General.
Dlamini then thanked Judge J. Mavuso who added a voice that the public must be allowed to enter the court and watch the court proceedings.
Veteran PUDEMO member Mphandlana Shongwe was among those who forced their way inside the court.
