SWAGAA EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR NONHLANHLA DLAMINI: Vote women during the upcoming Parliamentary elections.

MBABANE: Nonhlanhla Dlamini, the Executive Director of the Swaziland Action Group Against Abuse(SWAGAA) has advised voters to consider voting women during the upcoming Parliamentary elections.

Speaking to this Swaziland News current affairs program on Tuesday evening, the former Ludzeludze Member of Parliament(MP) emphasized the importance of having women leaders in decision making institutions.

“It’s time for elections and as an organization, we have a campaign to encourage voters to vote for women. We have women in various sectors of our society who have demonstrated leadership and as such, we urge the public to vote for them if they demonstrate interest in participating in the elections. This request is not only about women but, we urge even men to vote for women because women have demonstrated leadership.It’s not about voting women only to Parliament but all leadership structures even within iMiphakatsi,” said the SWAGAA Director.
