MBABANE: Prince Simelane, the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, has thanked the Nation for coming out in numbers to vote during the Local Government Elections.
Speaking during a press conference held in Mbabane last week, the Minister then apologized for the shortage of ballot papers that resulted to a mess during the elections.
“We would like to thank the Nation for coming out in numbers to vote and we acknowledge the mistakes that transpired during the process. As a result,we apologize unconditionally for the mess and we take full responsibility,” said the Minister.
The Minister then thanked those who were running the elections including the two(2) Under Secretaries within the Ministry, he said these officers were having sleepless night trying to ensure that the elections were a success.
