KWALUSENI: Prime Minister Cleopas Sipho Dlamini has announced R13.6million to re-construct four(4) Tinkhundla centres destroyed during the recent political unrest.
Speaking at Kwaluseni on Monday, the PM said, the Tinkhundla Centres to be reconstructed include Kwaluseni (E2.9M), Ndzingeni(E3.9M), Sandleni(E3.2M) and Lamgabhi(E3.6M).
The Head of Government said, the money was sourced from the Reconstruction Fund.
“This is taking us backwards because Government had already constructed these centres but certain people decided to destroy them. So many key structures were destroyed, including schools, hospitals, business structures and others,” said the PM as quoted by Government online platforms.
The contractors that will be working on the projects are Timbali Construction and Obtuse Electrical (Kwaluseni), L&T Investments and Brissaso Investments (Ndzingeni), IS Construction and Ingivile Electrical (Sandleni) as well as Capevilla Investment and Indlalifa Investments (Lamgabhi).
