NHLAMBENI:Residents of Nhlambeni in the Manzini region, joined the Swaziland United Democratic Front (SUDF) health crisis campaign, they marched to the nearby clinic on Tuesday to deliver a petition, demanding the immediate delivery of drugs.
This is as part of the ongoing SUDF campaign to force Mswati’s government to address the health crisis.
A questionnaire was sent to Health Minister Lizzie Nkosi, however, she had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
Speaking to this Swaziland News on Tuesday, Lucky Dlamini, the SUDF Chairperson confirmed that, SUDF Nhlambeni community leaders forcefully delivered the petition.
“SUDF believes that despite all impossible odds and adversities, if the people dearly love their country they will take the responsibility to change it to be a better place for all.Any independence of a country that fails to provide free access to quality medical care, food sovereignty and education is meaningless. We believe men and women of integrity must have sense of responsibility to ensure that all enjoys the right to access to medical care in their country, and only a government that have no empathy can deny people such a necessity,” said the SUDF Chairperson.
