SIPHOFANENI:Mkhululi Dubula Dlamini, the former Senator and Hhukwini Member of Parliament(MP) failed to secure a nomination at Maphilingo uMphakatsi on Saturday after being removed by the Inner Council(Bandlancane).
Dlamini once used similar tricks at Hhukwini Inkhundla, he secured a piece of land at LaMgabhi eTiyeni, a few months before the elections and subsequently convinced the unsuspecting voters to elect or vote him.
But soon thereafter, Dlamini disappeared after being elected and went back to his home area.
Efforts to reach the aspiring MP proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.
Reached for comments, the Deputy Chairman of the Maphilingo Inner Council(Bandlancane) identified as Babe Mndzebele confirmed that they removed the aspiring Member of Parliament.
“It’s true Nkhosi, we removed him. Bekangeke vele akhone kulungela lana lukhetfo ngoba asimati.Tintfo kumele sitente ngebuciniso, asimati lana(meaning: We don’t know him here, we must do things the right way and subscribe to the truth),” said the Deputy Chairman of the Inner Council.
