MPUMALANGA: Penuel Malinga, the Secretary General of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) says, the political party will continue to be the leading voice in calling for democracy in eSwatini.
Addressing the South Africa Communist Party(SACP),s Govan Mbeki commemoration on Sunday, the Secretary General said,PUDEMO was proud be the leading voice for the past forty(40)years of existence.
“In this 40 years history of our existence as a movement, we have truly inspired confidence and planted the seeds of freedom in the hearts and minds of our people which is demonstrated by their current fearless uprising and total rejection of King Mswati’s Royal oppression and economic plunder, through the parasitic and exploitative tinkhundla system of governance,” said the Secretary General.
Members of the PUDEMO Executive Commitee have been invited to address political gatherings in Southern Africa, President Mlungisi Makhanya and Treasurer General Velaphi Mamba were at the BRICS Summit, Makhanya subsequently graced the Economic Freedom Fighters(EFF) 10th Anniversary.
