PROTEST AGAINST SHORTAGE OF DRUGS IN HOSPITALS: SUDF Chairperson Lucky Dlamini says citizens can’t keep quiet while patients die.

MBABANE:Lucky Dlamini,the Chairperson of the Swaziland United Democratic Front(SUDF) says, citizens must refuse to keep quiet while patients are dying within the public hospitals amid shortage of drugs.

Speaking during a press conference held at the SUDF office-Manzini on Monday, the Chairperson urged the public to participate in a protest on Wednesday, to deliver a petition to the Human Rights Commission offices in Mbabane.

“We cannot keep quiet while patients are dying in hospitals hence collaboration with our partners that include SWADNU(Nurses Union) to deliver a petition to the Human Rights Commission”, said the Chairperson of the SUDF, a coalition of pro-democracy groups.
