MANZINI: The One Billion Rising stall attracted a stream of men through-out the Bible Society tournament at Mavuso Trade a Centre.
The tournament was hosted by the Bible Society, the Manzini Municipal Council in partnership with One Billion Rising campaign over the weekend.
According to One Billion Rising Community Circles Coordinator, Sitakele Maseko the men who came through presented themselves with a chance to also know more about their rights and gain information about the importance of gender Equality.
"The stall served as a platform for open discussions, provide space for individuals to share experiences and concerns" said Sitakele Maseko. This year, One Billion Rising reported an increase in numbers of men who visited the stall compared to last year”, she said.
