MBABANE: Senator Mancoba Khumalo, the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade has officially launched the Eswatini Beverages Responsible Trader Program, that seeks to reward liquor outlets that comply with their trading regulations.

According to Government online platforms, the program will be rolled out in five and seventy four(574) eSwatini Beverages customers.

“The goal, therefore, is to test for compliance, assist non-compliant outlets to comply and reward those complying to aspire for even better business practice. I am particularly excited with this program because it is a positive step towards improving the enforcement of liquor licensing conditions, a function which the Ministry is also responsible for.As a Ministry, we are responsible for creating an enabling environment through streamlined and focused policies and legal instruments that will compliment Government's effort to stimulate growth of small and medium enterprises. Our recent efforts that have resulted in the passing of the Liquor Licensing Bill of 2018 into law, demonstrate our commitment to fulfilling our developmental agenda in the economy,” said the Minister during the launch on Thursday.
