MBABANE: Penuel Malinga, the Secretary General of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) has, on behalf of the Nation Executive Committee(NEC) released a statement, blasting King Mswati for openly telling Heads of State during the Southern African Development Community(SADC) Summit in Angola that, he won’t dialogue with terrorists.

Mswati, an absolute Monarch tricked SADC and promised to hold a dialogue once the political environment had become stable, but subsequently, he summersaulted saying he won’t dialogue with terrorists.

“The statement and arrogance-driven declarations by the tyrannical King Mswati 111 is clear proof that from the beginning the oppressive regime never wanted to engage in any meaningful dialogue to effectively and efficiently resolve the country’s political impasse, but to buy time to regroup while in the process using international structures to legitimize the political trickery it embarked on. Mswati has seen terrorists to the thousands who stormed streets and petitioned different institutions voicing the need for freedom and democracy. He cites his constitutional order which is not only disputed but equal a product of a non-democratic process and it harbors anti-democratic values as well as putting him the, chief perpetrator of all abuses, above the constitution as he cannot be questioned or tried in a court of law,” reads the statement in part.

PUDEMO, the eSwatini’s leading political organization, fighting for democracy said, SADC must spit this honeyed lies coated to misled the globe on the true nature of the situation in the country addinf that the regional organization must, help thwart the efforts of turning regional structures to be obedient praise singers for his iron fist rule.

“He might have been used to that within our borders and his government where they send cows to apologies when debating something involving him but the region is historically rich and stronger than this. We must further ask ourselves who must take his words serious anymore now? His absolutism consumes him beyond measure.It is the efforts of the SADC region that calmed the then situation as they were the first to appeal to Swazis that dialogue happens only in CALM situations. Swazis heeded the call and patiently waited for the meaningful, all-inclusive dialogue while from time to time are kept reminded that mswati does not dialogue with dagga smokers, alleging the people to be dagga smokers or intoxicated thus unable to reason,” PUDEMO said, through the statement.
