MANZINI: Constable Sicelo KhungaNkhosi Dlamini, his reported popularity at Mayiwane was confirmed on Tuesday when the police officer secured the highest number of votes in a Special Voting, conducted by the Elections and Boundaries Commission(EBC).
Dlamini secured two hundred and fifty-two(252) votes while his boss Themba Simelane secured only nineteen(19) votes.
This Swaziland News has gathered that, the Constable known as ‘KhungaNkhosi’ is popular at Mayiwane, he has been assisting the needy and vulnerable for the past years without showing any interest in politics.
The residents are alleged to have consistently approached and asked him to represent them in Parliament and he finally agreed.
