MOSCOW:Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder and Chief of the Wagner Mercenary Group has been killed in a plane crash, Aljazeera reported on Wednesday evening.
The plane crash comes a few months after the Wagner Chief, whose forces were fighting alongside Russian soldiers in Ukraine, tried to rebel against President Putin who described his conduct as treasonous.
The private plane crashed in Moscow’s Tver region, killing all ten(10) people on board, Russia news agency TASS reported that the Wagner mercenary group Chief was among those on board.
