NGWEMPISI: Bishop Bhekibandla Vilakati of the Jericho Church-in Zion has won Primary Elections at Ngwempisi Constituency.
Incarcerated former Member of Parliament(MP) Mthandeni Dube’s wife Gugu Hazel Dube lost the elections.
Speaking to this Swaziland News on Saturday evening, the Jericho Bishop confirmed winning the elections.
“Njengoba ngake ngakutjela Mlangeni kutsi ngicelwe bantfu kutsi ngingene, bantfu sebavele bente njalo(meaning: As I mentioned to you earlier that the people requested me to stand for the elections, they have done it”, said the aspiring MP.
Vilakati will now compete in the Secondary Elections and seemingly, he is enjoying overwhelming support.
