MBABANE:Sticks Nkambule, the Secretary General of the Swaziland Transport, Communications and Allied Workers Union(SWATCAWU) has, on behalf of the trade union, expressed support and solidarity with Mbongwa Dlamini, the President of the Swaziland National Association of Teachers(SNAT) who has been fired by the Teaching Service Commission(TSC).
In a public statement sent to this Swaziland News on Wednesday evening, the SWATCAWU Secretary General said, the union learnt with shock and dismay about dismissal of the SNAT President.
“We would like to remind SNAT leadership, Comrade Mbongwa and the entire membership to remain strong and united on purpose even as the regime deploys its full machinery trying to crush your resilience and revolutionary spirit”, reads the statement in part.
Dlamini was charged with absenteeism by the TSC and subsequently dismissed on Wednesday.
