NGWENYAMENI:Marwick Khumalo, the Lobamba Lomdzala aspiring Member of Parliament(MP) came together with his competitors to eat lunch at Luyengo Market.
This was on Sunday after their scheduled campaign meeting at eNgwenyameni, organized by the Elections and Boundaries Commission(EBC) ahead of the Secondary Elections.
The MP candidates include Stanford Makhubu who previously served as Lobamba Lomdzala Indvuna YeNkhundla(Constituency Headman) from 1988 to 1993.
Reached for comments by this Swaziland News, aspiring MP Marwick Khumalo said, some of the novice competitors have no development agenda for the country but restored to character assassination.
“Well, some of the novice competitors, not necessary politicians, have no development agenda for our community and country, but their chief occupation is character assassination. So, whilst they derive pleasure in attacking the incumbent, I enjoy addressing the issues that matter to our people, like scholarship awards, water supply, infrastructure development, etc.Come 29th September the people's voice shall rule supreme,” said the aspiring Lobamba Lomdzala MP.
On another note, Mbonisi Bhembe, the Spokesperson of the Elections Commission urged competitors in the elections not to develop enmity towards and after the elections.
“We are building the Nation here and need each other, even in the various communities across the country, we want to witness such unity. As we mentioned, the elections are not here to divide us as a Nation. But the process of the elections is meant to unite us so that we can share our different ideas. We will then agree on those ideas through the vote.May we witness such unity even among campaign agents (Bo-Galajane) and the entire Nation throughout the election process. But this must not end with the elections; can we see unity even on governance structures where we discuss development", said the Spokesperson of the Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC) when speaking to this publication earlier, about aspiring Nkilongo MPs, who also came together to eat lunch after a workshop organized by the EBC.

Aspiring Lobamba Lomdzala MP Marwick and his competitors eat lunch at Luyengo Market after their Ngwenyameni campaign, Khumalo says voters to decide on 29th September 2023.
