LOBAMBA:King Mswati has emphasized on the importance of a peaceful dialogue to resolve political differences.
Speaking during his 55-55 Birthday and the Independence Day Double Celebration held at the Somhlolo National Stadium on Wednesday, the King further emphasized the importance of upholding unity amid political differences.
“What is of importance is that as a Nation, even where we do not see eye to eye, we sit down together in mutual respect, honour and love and dialogue on whatever matter we do not agree on. I therefore urge the Nation to continue to uphold the spirit of unity.If the Nation continues to uphold these values, this will be in line with the ideals of the United Nations and the call by the African Union to silence guns by 2063. This is indeed important for Africa to develop and pursue the goals that it has set for itself,” said the King.
