I wish eKutsimuleni Indvuna Rogers Mamba was my Indvuna at LaMgabhi eTiyeni so we can teach him a lesson like the late Alfred Maseko.

In life there are people whom you always wish to teach them a lesson only to find that those power-drunk idiots are not within your jurisdiction.

At LaMgabhi eTiyeni we once had the so called Indvuna, the late Alfred Maseko who behaved like Rogers Mamba of eKutsimuleni.

Maseko was persecuting residents of LaMgabhi, grabbing and selling their land, I had one wish, “that he shows interest in my grandfather Prince Mgungu’s land” and luckily he arrived.

We clashed with the Indvuna and while I was in exile for political reasons, I was informed that he ‘decided’ to die.

Rogers Mamba must be happy because seemingly, the people of eKutsimuleni are not yet fed-up, personally, I dont think I can allow a man to stop a funeral of a relative just to demonstrate traditional power.

Ekutsimuleni Indvuna Rogers Mamba stopped the funeral of Richard Sangweni this week, this is a heartless decision against a powerless family whose members lost a father.

But the people of eKutsimuleni are very kind, at LaMgabhi eTiyeni we are currently living in peace, the new Chief Mveve dissolved the Bandlancane that was causing disorder.

Perhaps, disorder might erupt if the new Inner Council can engage in corruption as well, grabbing people’s land.

But until emaSwati restore their dignity by resisting oppression at political and traditional level, they will continue to be treated like slaves.

Traditional leadership exists even in democratic countries, some iMiphakatsi are enjoying peace because the Chiefs respect human rights.

I wish Rogers Mamba could be transferred to be an Indvuna at LaMgabhi eTiyeni so we can teach him a lesson.
