MBABANE: Gift Mandlenkhosi Dlamini, a political analyst says former Hhukwini Member of Parliament(MP) Nkhanyenti Ngwenya is under pressure as editor Alec Lushaba “takes the lead on Special Voting”.
Dlamini was speaking on Swaziland News current affairs program where, the Special Votes were analysed based on what happened in the previous elections.
“When you look at the results of the previous elections in 2018, Nkhanyenti won with 1910 votes while Lushaba secured 1873, it was very close. So with Lushaba leading now in the Special Voting, it’s clear that Nkhanyenti is under pressure, anything can can happen”, said the political analyst, a former Secretary General of the Swazis First Democratic Front(SFDF) who was interviewed by editor Zweli Martin Dlamini on Thursday evening.
Voters are expected to vote on Friday and results will be announced immediately.
