NKILONGO: Petros Sibandze, the newly elected Nkilongo Member of Parliament(MP) was allegedly assisted by residents who donated monies for his campaign.
It has been disclosed that, Sibandze was financially broke after being fired from work some years ago, for using a company car to assist the residents. Some of the residents were in need of transport to carry corpse to funerals while others were assisted to go to hospital, Sibandze was then fired by his employer after being reported.
Reached for comments, the new MP confirmed that, residents assisted him by donating monies for his campaign.
“I can confirm that the residents assisted me with money to campaign and they then voted for me. Nawuphila nebantfu kuba njalo nje uyaye wente tintfo unganaki kani bantfu bayakubuka nawubasita, when you need help, they will then come back and help you”, said the new MP.
The new Nkilongo MP promised to listen to the residents to hear their views and represent them in Parliament.
