MBABANE: Sabelo Dlamini, the Secretary General(SG) of the Eswatini Local Kombis Association, says the regular increase of fuel prices has a negative impact on the transport industry,and as an Association, they are working towards proposing a bus fare hike.
Dlamini was responding to a questionnaire from this Swaziland earlier this week, after Sicelo Nxumalo, the Acting Principal Secretary(PS) in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Energy announced fuel prices increase.
“As transport owners we have seen fuel price increase three(3) times without proposing bus fare hike, the regular increase of fuel prices has a negative impact in the transport industry. It is for that reason we are working on proposing bus fare hike, the moment the new Parliament starts working," said the Secretary General.
