LOBAMBA: Dimpho Masuku, the wife to former Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) Themba Nhlanganiso Masuku has lost Senate elections despite a vigorous lobbying by her husband this week.
As reported by this Swaziland News, the former DPM met Members of Parliament(MPs) at the Olive Country Lodge where he asked them to vote for his wife.
On Thursday afternoon,MPs voted for Senators,the winners in the women category were Fezeka Dlamini,Lorraine Nxumalo, Tourism Chief Executive Officer(CEO) Linda Nxumalo,former Health Minister Lizzie Nkosi and Lindiwe Ngwenya.
The DPM’s wife lost together with former Health Minister Sibongile Ndlela-Simelane.
