LUDZIDZINI: King Mswati has urged emaSwati to conduct “Kubhunga” and advise him who to appoint as the Prime Minister and Cabinet Ministers.
The King was addressing the Nation during Sibaya national gathering at Ludzidzini Palace on Monday, “Kubhunga” is a Siswati word that describes the expression of views.
“But as you express your views, remember that the King is not obligated to take that view, advice is just advice. Furthermore, you must remember that, the Constitution suggests that the King appoints the Cabinet, acting on the advice of the Prime Minister”, said the King.
On another note,the King said Sibaya remains the highest advisory body to the King, he said he will come back and announce the Prime Minister during the closing of Sibaya national gathering.
