LOBAMBA:Prince Tsekedi, a senior member of the royal family has died of COVID-19, senior royal insiders told this Swaziland News.
The death of the Prince was confirmed by Ludzidzini Governor Lusendvo Fakudze when speaking to this Swaziland News who further disclosed that the Queen Mother (Indlovukazi) was officially notified on Monday while arrangement were made to officially notify the King.
“Yes, it’s true and Indlovukazi was notified today, we are currently making arrangements to officially notify the King” said the Governor.
The Governor did not state the cause of death, but senior royal insiders told this publication that the Prince was among the two new COVID-19 deaths announced by Health Minister Lizzie Nkosi on Monday(03 August 2020). The Minister further announced 63 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases to 2838.
