Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini welcomes World Bank Country Representative Ikechi Okorie and his delegation.

MBABANE: Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini welcomed the World Bank Country Representative in Eswatini Ikechi Okorie, and his delegation at the Private and Cabinet Offices on Wednesday.

The PM discussed the role of the World Bank in supporting eSwatini’s development priorities, particularly economic growth and to foster job creation and elevate service delivery for emaSwati. 

The World Bank has funded many development projects in eSwatini that include energy and water projects in the Shiselweni Region. 

Hlatikhulu, Zombodze Emuva and Masibini are some of the areas that benefited.
